Believe it or not living in a dorm is not that bad as you think. It will be hard to get used to living in only one room or to share a premises with roommates, but you can make it unforgettable experience.
Something that a lot of people remember is the day they moved in. Girls usually need more help because of the countless boxes of luggage. Usually in this situations removals companies are the best choice you can do. The funny part is when the movers deliver all you stuff and you realise that there in not enough room for everything. However whether you are a boy or a girl, you eventually will unpack and tidy up your new room. Then you have to get used to the strange idea that you are finally on your own and you have to take care of yourself. Food, shopping, cleaning – it all depends on you. What makes the first day special is that you become well acquainted with your neighbours who can be your future best friends or always the first guests to your parties.
If it happens to be in a dorm where you share not only kitchen and bathroom with a roommate but also your room – well that’s even the better part of your new life. It may be scary for you to live with a stranger but there also some benefits. He or she will be the closest people around you, whether you want or not. Living in a dorm is an experience that makes you independent but also laid-back because of all the situations and people that you will come across with. One day you will have to move out and you will remember that very first day when you have so much luggage. Well, guess what – after a couple of years in the dorm you will have even more clothes, shoes, equipment, books and so on.
